Taylor did a great job and is very customer oriented. I thought the price of the thermo coupler was very high. Taylor was timely, knowledgeable, and did everything I could have asked.... I would recommend Comfort Matter to anyone
Very helpful and knowledgeable

Customer explained how system was not working. Furnace set to 72F on thermostat. It was 74F in house. Verified that everything on furnace functions like it should. Found that the 2nd level zone damper motor is not working properly. It was stuck in a closed position. This will cause system to heat and cool unevenly. 2nd level zone damper should be replaced. Main level damper has already been updated. Also would recommend replacing old main level thermostat. Mercury thermostats can sometimes be anywhere from 5-7 degrees off of what it should be. Lastly our sunshine club maintenance plan will get the best price for repair. Customer will review findings with family member and call back if they would like to move forward.

Performed annual Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Pulled and cleaned blower fan Torino increase airflow and efficiency of unit. Dirty fans also create more stress on variable speed motor and may shorten life of motor. Recommend motor surge protection to prevent electrical breakdowns external from motor. Now that unit is out of warranty, motor is very expensive repair if it fails.

Furnace precision tune up. Pulled and cleaned burners. Inspected heat exchanger for any visual defects, did not find any at this time. Tested ignition assembly components, including flame safety, for proper tolerance ranges. Cleaned out condensate trap. Checked all remaining electrical inside of the unit, measured motor amp draws for correct operating range. Inspected blower wheel for dirt and debris. Checked airflow for proper air movement. Measured combustion and gas pressure for safe levels. Ensured temperatures were within manufacture desired performance. System is heating and operating with no issues at this time.

Boiler was not operating upon arrival. After further diagnostics I found that the expansion tank was low on pressure and the boiler system had no water pressure within. I refilled the expansion tank and purged the upstairs water loop of air, I then set the water pressure to 15 psi in the system and then proceeded to run diagnostics. As of now everything is up and operating just fine.

Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Would recommend electronic air filter, humidifier, surge protector and vent screens.

Customer stated how the carbon monoxide detectors were going off. The only one that was going off, was not hooked up to anything and was a smoke detector, not a carbon monoxide detector. Ran furnace, didn’t detect any carbon monoxide in ductwork or inside home. No carbon monoxide from fireplace. Co levels in furnace venting were at 20ppm which is normal. All of the detector should get replaced with new carbon monoxide detectors. Found a lot of the detectors are from 2007 and one from 2014. Those are all pasts their lifespan. Signed customer back up on sunshine club. Everything is safe in home.

AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Balanced refrigerant charge to proper levels. Added 1pd 7.5 oz of refrigerant. Unit working how it should.

RTU #5 NOT WORKING. FOUND UNIT TO BE CYCLING ON HOGH HEAD PRESSURE. COMPRESSOR IS DRAWING VERY HIGH AMPS AND IS SCALDING HOT WITHIN A MINITE OF RUNNING. OHMED OUT COMP. AND BEWTWEEN EACH WINDING WAS OKAY. .7 BETWEEN EACH TERMINAL. WHEN GOING FROM TERMINAL TO GROUND CONTINUITY WOULD KEEP CLIMBING, MEANING THE WINDS ARE NOT COMPLETELY BROKE BUT IT IS DEFINITELY ON THE WAY OUT. OTHER ISSUE COULD BE A RESTRICTION IN REFRIGERATION CIRCUT. COST OF REPAIR OVER REPLACEMENT, REPLACEMENT IS HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Taylor L.
U0 CODE ON STATS AGAIN. LOOKED AT ALL THERMISTERS AND FOUND ONE NOT PUSHED ALL THE WAY IN ON THE LINE. ALSO FOUND ONE HEAD TO HAVE A WIRE GOING TO THE WRONG TERMINAL CAUSING THE HEAD TO HAVE POWER BUT NOT FLOW REFRIGERANT. TALKED TO TECH SUPPORT AND THEY SAID THE THERMISTOR IS LOOKING FOR A CERTAIN TEMPERATURE AND IF IT DOESNT SEE THAT IT WILL SHUT DOWN. U0 IS A SYSTEM WIDE CODE SO IT WILL DIAPLAY ON BOTH STATS. BASICALLY THE UNIT WAS TRYING TO SEND REFRIGERANT TO A CIRCUT THAT WASNT IN USE. MONITORED SYSYEM FOR A FEW HOURS WHILE CHECKING OUT ROOFTOP THAT ALSO ISNT WORKING. DUCTLESS SYSTEM WORKING AS IT SHOULD…FINALLY!

Arrived to find error code UO for low refrigerant charge. Checked charge and added 3lbs R410 to get unit cooling again. We will need to return to address and fix issue. This should keep units working through the weekend.

INSTALLED WIRE TO CONNECT UNIT TO THERMOSTAT, MET INSPECTOR FOR FINAL INSPECTION. EVERYTHING PASSED AND IS RUNNING AS IT SHOULD. INFORMED CUSTOMER TO NOT USE REMOTE AND ONLY USE THERMOSTATS ON THW WALL TO CONTROL EACH UNIT.

Arrived to find indoor units not running. Saw that timer had been set on remote and I canceled the timer. Units started blowing cold air and outdoor unit started running. I checked for error codes and didn’t find any. I was not able to look closer at indoor units as it was very busy. Everything looks to be working as it should at this time.
