Repair person was on time, friendly, capable, and thorough. He did a great job. The main problem I had was, how far out my scheduled appointment was from the date I called Comfort Matters. I know a lot of people had AC problems, but two weeks was a long wait.

Polite, professional; all went well; the large block of time needed is a little challenging but workable. Each time I've scheduled services between 2-5 I asked to be more toward 5 and every time they come at 2. I do appreciate that they call 30 minutes before arriving though; that makes it much easier.

Outdoor unit would not run on on arrival. Found contactor was not getting call for cool. Core sense diagnostics was flickering. Disconnected From system and issue persisted. Disconnected high low pressure cutoff for test purposes. Unit fired after that. Recommend replacement of pressure switches and diagnostics module. Informed customer to go through center point for repair due to cost of labor we would have to charge. Warranty give to to customer is through center point only. Collected diagnostics fee for visit today.

Ac was not operating upon arrival. After further diagnostics I found that the system had no high voltage at the ai conditioner. I hen found that the two high voltage fuses have blown. I replaced here fuses with brand new ones and he system started right away. I also found that the company that installed the furnace never connected the ac to the control board. This was causing the fan to run at a very low speed. I then ran new wiring to the furnace from the existing wires inside and wired everything up accordingly. As of now the system is up and running however due to the age I do highly recommend looking into replacement. Home advisor visit scheduled for 6-28-2022 at 5 pm with our home advisor Chris A.

Returned to install new inducer motor. Installed new part and tested operation. Ensured motor was operating properly and exhausting proper amount of gases. Motor and furnace operating well at this time. Recommend changing furnace air filter. Duct pressure readings slightly high at this time. Air cleaner filters should be swapped out every 3-4 months.

Cody L.
Arrived and furnace gave a pressure witch open error code. Inducer was supposed tone running, but was not. From previous visit, inducer motor has failed internally. Confirmed warranty on part. Motor is ordered and should be here within a few days according to manufacture. Will return when part is received.

Arrived and customer explained humming coming from furnace, only when it was running. Found it was the exhaust motor making noise. Upon arrival, the furnace was heating with no issues. The customer had stated that there was constant heat going to the 2nd floor even when there was no call for heat on the 2nd floor. The main floor thermostat was set for heat and the 2nd floor thermostat was not, voltage was tested for at the 2nd floor damper. There was proper voltage being sent to the damper to close it, but the damper would not close. It was determined that the damper motor was failed. The motor was replaced and the operation of the zone system was tested. All damper motors are operating correctly at this time. The customer had also stated that the humidifier was leaking. A humidifier precision tune up and cleaning was performed. Remove current water pad, clean off pad housing and water distributor. Clean out humidifier box. Clear out drain line. Replace with new water pad. Test operation of humidifier. After the tune up was complete, the humidifier was not leaking anymore. The customer also signed up for a mont

Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Found water leaking on the ground when arrived, added a diagnostic to determine where the water was leaking from found the water leaking from the water softener drain line. Would need to replace drain line and add better hose clamps to prevent water leaking again. Also found the furnace blower motor to be dirty this will cause loss in performance on the furnace and also but extra unnecessary wear and tear. Also found the furnace filter to be restrictive, this will put more stress on the system then it should. To correct all of these issues I would replace the drain line, clean the blower wheel and upgrade to a better filtration system. All recommendations have been declined at this time.

Water heater was leaking upon arrival. After further diagnostics I found that the water heater tank itself was leaking from the inside. With this being the issue the only way to fix this is to replace the tank. Customer wants to move forward with a new water heater, we will be back out on Wednesday 1-19-2022 at 12 to install a new tank with an upgraded warranty kit.

Cody L.
Corrosion build up on hot water shut off valve on water heater. Could not pinpoint location of leak at this time of there is one. Customer would like to have valve replaced before major issue occurs. Since customer needs more plumbing work done in house, referred to joe at always plumbing to have issues resolved.

Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Diagnosed flame safety to be failing, it is testing out of range. Also found blower motor wiring harness greasy, blower is also showing signs of failure. System replacement is encouraged. Unit may stop heating this winter. Replaced thermostat with customer supplied ecobee. Also replaced anode rod on water heater. Refilled tank when completed and verified no leakage.

Arrived to find furnace not operating. Flash error code was 3 flashes, stating a pressure safety was stuck open. Power was going to exhaust motor, but was not running. This motor must run to satisfy pressure safety. Motor was hot to touch. I confirmed exhaust motor has burnt up and failed. Replacement of motor is recommended to get furnace up and running. Customer would like to replace motor with the option on a different day. That will include the return fee, inducer warranty, and response and diagnostics fee. I collected half down for the repair at this visit.
