This was our first experience with your company and I was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and patience Tony Freund had in figuring out our kind of complicated air conditioning system. We appreciate the great work, positive attitude and commitment to figuring out what needed to be fixed.
Very Professional Service

This is the second time Wesley has provided service at this location (no fault of his own) I found Wesley to be very professional in his approach to the problem, his appearance representing your firm and most of all his knowledge. It was very refreshing dealing with him....which is has not been my typical experience with other service organizations in the past. Wesley truly gets the meaning of Customer Service. When you have new hires in the future.....I would suggest they shadow Wesley before going out on their own. Well done Wesley!!!! Thank You, Mark Hoiseth Lakes Sotheby’s International Realty

Peformed Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation on 2 Bryant furnaces. Both furnaces operating well at this time with no further concerns. Humidifer on furnace on the basketball court side of home has failed solenoid valve, and will not operate. Customer did not want to go through with repairs today.
RED BLINKING ON STAT. ERROR SAID ABBNORMAL SUCTION TEMP. WHEN SETTING UP UNIT THERE NEEDS TO BE AIRFLOW TEST DONE. ON ORIGINAL START UP FAN WAS ON MEDIUM WHEN HEATING. PREVIOUS TECH CHANGED SETTING TO AUTO. I BELIEVE WHEN OT WAS CHANGED TO AUTO THE UNIT SAW A HIGHER SUCTION TEMP BECASUE THE FAN WASNT MOVING THE CONSTANT AIR. RE-COMMISSIONED STAT FOR AUTO AIRFLOW. TESTED OPERATION 62*RA AND 104* SA. TURNED ON OTHER DUCTLESS HEADS AND LET RUN. OUTDOOR UNIT WENT INTO DEFROST MODE AS IT SHOULD. INDOOR UNITS WENT TO STANDBY WHILE IN DEFROST AND CAME BACK ON AFTER CYCLE WAS OVER. CUSTOMER IS INTERESTED IN WIRELESS STAT SO WE CAN GET MORE ACCURATE READING FOR ACTUAL ROOM TEMP. ALL UNITS WORKING AS THEY SHOULD AT THIS TIME.
Ductless unit was operating upon arrival. After looking through the system and checking with the manufacture I found that everything is up and working as it should. I did find that the thermostat was set to run the fan all day everyday, this means that the system is constantly bringing cold air into the main room. I turned the fan to auto so that the fan will only run when the system is heating or cooling. The return for the minsplit system is pulling in air only from the basement.
Repair. Steam hum was doing as it was suppose to the RH in the home was about 33 percent. I double checked wiring and gave the can a quick rinse and bummed the control to a 6 for more steam.
System tripped on E3 code. Checked voltage across all safety switches. Found one of the rollout switches tripped. Reset switch, furnace fired right up. Checked duct pressure one zone at a time and also both at same time. Also checked temperatures doing the same test. With it being -15 outside, this will cause long run times. This can cause inside cabinet of furnace to heat up and trip the sensor. If issues happen again, will need to reach out to Daikin during regular business hours. All heating operation is now normal.
Replace furnace and air conditioner with 96% AFUE 2-Stage Variable-Speed Furnace and 16 SEER A/C. Terms: 50% down, balance due at completion of installation OR Approved Financing
Unit tripped on rollout safety upon arrival. Bypassed switch and furnace was then able to fire up. Did some troubleshoot to locate the cause of the rollout switch being tripped. Located a crack in heat exchanger. System is past its life span and is not worth putting in a new heat exchanger due to the overall condition. Provided replacement quotes for homeowner.
Furnace was working upon arrival. Turned it off, all the water in venting went straight to motor. Motor was now full of water. Motor is suppose to hold some water, then when it turns on, it pushes it back out. Spoke to manufacture, motor is getting weak and not able to move enough air anymore. Replaced motor and installed new gaskets. Furnace is now working properly.
Customer explained how 2 out of 4 furnaces were not working. Started by looking at upstairs furnace. Inducer motor unable to spin due to being full of water. No blockages in drain line or trap. Removed inducer motor to get water out of it. Also found that the rubber boot that attaches to inducer motor was full of pvc shavings, probably from the system install. As far as the water being In motor, found that the problem is from a failing collector box. Manufacture said that the pressure from motor before ignition is suppose to be more than .75â€. It only was .50â€. Having this low of pressure can cause water to back up into motor. After replacing collector box and all gaskets. The pressure is now more than .75â€. Furnace is now up and running. Basement furnace was as set point upon arrival. Customer explained how thermostat was blank earlier. I removed thermostat and checked the wire connections. Also checked the connections at control module and furnace control board. All are tight.
Furnace precision tune up. Pulled and cleaned burners. Inspected heat exchanger for any visual defects, did not find any at this time. Tested ignition assembly components, including flame safety, for proper tolerance ranges. Cleaned out condensate trap. Checked all remaining electrical inside of the unit, measured motor amp draws for correct operating range. Inspected blower wheel for dirt and debris. Checked airflow for proper air movement. Measured combustion and gas pressure for safe levels. Ensured temperatures were within manufacture desired performance. System is heating and operating with no issues at this time. Performed precision furnace tuneup. Checked flame sensor, igniter, burners, took all amp drawls, and did a full combustion analysis. Humidifier was leaking and water panel was building up with calcium deposits. So did a full humidifier tuneup and tested.
Arrived to find thermostat calling for heat but furnace not running. Found error code on furnace for pressure switch not closing and found it open. Checked pressure and found inducer was barely creating draft. Turned furnace off and checked ports for obstruction. Turned furnace back on and found inducer motor is seizing up and barely moving. Due to age and condition of system, replacement is recommended.

Customer explained thermostat was not staying at set point, and going over set point. Heat from supply duct for kitchen unit may be radiating up from duct to thermostat. I sealed hole in wall where thermostat wiring goes to thermostat to see if that helps issue. Also note that fan coil unit does go to kitchen. Heat pump was heating kitchen when I was at home and this may be causing issue as well. Customer would like follow up from Nate to discuss schedule thermostat options for kitchen, to replace small Daikin thermostat. Also Informed customer that Daikin FIT units will run on their own to cool itself down, and this may be the case for the heat pump as well.
Unit heater not working upon arrival. No error codes on control board. Thermostat was blank upon arrival. Tried changing battery’s on it, no luck with that. Had voltage to thermostat. Thermostat failed. Installed new thermostat, unit then fired up and worked properly. Unit heater is getting up in age and replacement is highly recommended. Will have a staff member follow up with replacement costs.

Service. Replaced furnace venting to 3 inch. Determine that the vent was to long and to many elbows at install. Also replaced 3 inch diamond screen.
Came and replaced faulty control board. Installed new one, adjusted all dip switches for proper operation, tested operation. After repair was completed, continued to have issues. Burners would come on and off quickly and then shut furnace off. Pressure switch would keep opening and closing, the pressure the draft motor would make, would fluctuate quite a bit. It would go above and below the pressure switch rating. When removing the exhaust all together, system ran fine and pressure was consistent. The 2†pipe is not large enough for furnace. Will need to have install team come back next week to have venting repaired.
System off upon arrival. Turned it on to test operation. 1 flash fault code, limit switch fault. Had power across switch. Switch is failed. Installed new one. Furnace was then able to fire up. Also found the flame safety failing as well, went ahead and repaired that as well. Due to condition and age, replacement is recommended. $500 service credit can be applied toward replacement, if decided within 2 weeks of today’s visit. Will have Jacob follow up later today with updated pricing.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace, clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor airflow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace function. Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace, clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor airflow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace function. Upon inspection of the main level furnace, the furnace would run through its entire cycle of operation but cut out after 30 seconds of run time, I checked everything to make sure everything was in range and that was all well. Talked with technical support and diagnosed a faulty control board. The furnace is within its 2 year labor warranty, will have my office follow up when we can come back out to repair the furnace. All other recommendations declined at this time.
