Fantastic service person showed up!

Review of Comfort Matters

This was our first experience with your company and I was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and patience Tony Freund had in figuring out our kind of complicated air conditioning system. We appreciate the great work, positive attitude and commitment to figuring out what needed to be fixed.

Very Professional Service

Review of Comfort Matters

This is the second time Wesley has provided service at this location (no fault of his own) I found Wesley to be very professional in his approach to the problem, his appearance representing your firm and most of all his knowledge. It was very refreshing dealing with him....which is has not been my typical experience with other service organizations in the past. Wesley truly gets the meaning of Customer Service. When you have new hires in the future.....I would suggest they shadow Wesley before going out on their own. Well done Wesley!!!! Thank You, Mark Hoiseth Lakes Sotheby’s International Realty

Water heater #2 was not operating upon arrival. After further diagnostics And a call to the manufacture I found that the exhaust fan on the water heater has failed. Spoke with multiple supply houses and none of them have this part in stock. Also was unable to get a accurate price at this time. I highly recommend looking into replacing both water heaters to avoid any further issues and high costing repair bills.

Perfomed annual AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Ac motor booster and starter are showing signs of failure. If not addressed, ac may fail and due to age, I would not recommend repair. I would encourage replacement. Locking caps not present on system. This is code for the ac unit, and will come with new install.

Performed seasonal precision tune up on cooling units. Chemically cleaned condenser coils, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Air filters in all systems were plugged up affecting cooling in home. Replaced filters in all systems excluding system I did not have correct size for. Correct size filter in remaining system will be shipped directly to your home. Filter should arrive early next week.

Return visit to inspect furnace operation. Upon arrival I noticed that the system was in a lockout error code. Error code was E3 this meant that one of the safety switches has been tripped. I reset the rollout switch that had been tripped and then proceeded to run diagnostics. I noticed there were soot marks coming out of the burners back end. I also noticed there was a gas smell coming from the system. I then removed the call for heat on the furnace and found that the furnace stayed lit and had flames going over the rollout switch. The gas valve being intermittent is what is causing the issues. Removed and replaced the gas valve and tested operation upon completion of the repair. As of now everything is up and working just fine.

System tripped on E3 code. Found rollout switch tripped. Checked overall duct pressure, temperature rise and overall system operation, everything is performing correctly after resetting switch. Spoke to manufacture, they suggested to replace rollout switches due to the issues the system was having now and back in January. Installed two new rollout switches. Tested operation after completed. Everything working properly now.

Performed annual Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation on 2 Daikin modulating furnaces. Also performed annual Humidifier precision tune up and cleaning. Remove current water pad, clean off pad housing and water distributor. Clean out humidifier box. Clear out drain line. Replace with new water pad. Test operation on 1 aprilaire steam humidifier and 1 aprilaire bypass humidifier. Found that on the bypass humidifier, thermostat was calling for humidity however no water was going to to unit. Traced water line to find valve was closed. Opened valve and unit operated normally. Customer did not have aprilaire steam humidifier canister on hand. Ordered 2 canisters. One at no cost to customer, and one to keep on hand for next maintenance visit, in which

BASEMENT ZONE NOT WORKING. FOUND STAT CALLING FOR HEAT AS WELL AS BOILER. ZONE VALVE WAS STICKING CLOSED. TOUCHED IT WITH MY FINGER AND IT OPENED. CYCLED STAT MULTIPLE TIMES AND VALVE WOULD CLOSE SUPER SLOW AND OPEN VERY SLOW COMPARED TO OTHER VALVE. VALVE WOULD ALWAYS CLOSE FINE BUT A FEW TIMES DURING CYCLING CALL FOR HEAT IT WOULD STICK CLOSED. REMOVED HEAD AND INSPECTED FOR ANYTHING THAT WOULD CAUSE IT TO STICK, AND COULDNT SEE ANYTHING. NEED TO ORDER NEW VALVE HEAD AND RETURN TO REPLACE UNDER WARRANTY.

FOUND U0 CODE ON STAT. MEANS REFRIG. SHORTAGE. TECH SUPPORT SAID THAT CODE COULD COME FROM OTHER THINGS BEFORE REACHING THAT CODE ON DISPLAY. WEIGHED OUT REFRIG. AND WAS 10-12 OUNCE OF WHAT SHOULD BE IN THERE. PULLED VACUMM TO 280 AND ADDED FACTORY CHARGE PLUS ADDITIONAL FOR LINESET LENGTH. (CONFIRMED LINESET LENGTH). FIRED UNIT UP AND MADE SURE UNIT HEATED AND WENT INTO DEFROST. ALOT OF ICE BUILD UP ON BOTTOM OF CONDENSER COIL. EXPLAINED TO CUSTOMER FACTORY CHARGE COULD HAVE BEEN OFF BUT THERE POTENTIALLY COULD BE A LEAK IN SYSTEM. HE IS GOING TO KEEP AN EYE ON IT AND LET US KNOW IF/WHEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN.

RED BLINKING ON STAT. ERROR SAID ABBNORMAL SUCTION TEMP. WHEN SETTING UP UNIT THERE NEEDS TO BE AIRFLOW TEST DONE. ON ORIGINAL START UP FAN WAS ON MEDIUM WHEN HEATING. PREVIOUS TECH CHANGED SETTING TO AUTO. I BELIEVE WHEN OT WAS CHANGED TO AUTO THE UNIT SAW A HIGHER SUCTION TEMP BECASUE THE FAN WASNT MOVING THE CONSTANT AIR. RE-COMMISSIONED STAT FOR AUTO AIRFLOW. TESTED OPERATION 62*RA AND 104* SA. TURNED ON OTHER DUCTLESS HEADS AND LET RUN. OUTDOOR UNIT WENT INTO DEFROST MODE AS IT SHOULD. INDOOR UNITS WENT TO STANDBY WHILE IN DEFROST AND CAME BACK ON AFTER CYCLE WAS OVER. CUSTOMER IS INTERESTED IN WIRELESS STAT SO WE CAN GET MORE ACCURATE READING FOR ACTUAL ROOM TEMP. ALL UNITS WORKING AS THEY SHOULD AT THIS TIME.

Ductless unit was operating upon arrival. After looking through the system and checking with the manufacture I found that everything is up and working as it should. I did find that the thermostat was set to run the fan all day everyday, this means that the system is constantly bringing cold air into the main room. I turned the fan to auto so that the fan will only run when the system is heating or cooling. The return for the minsplit system is pulling in air only from the basement.
